Amna Kiran, M.A. in ESL from Hamline University, is an ESL teacher at Andover High School and has been affiliated with the Anoka Hennepin School district since 2017. She is a first-generation immigrant to the US from Pakistan, and has taught English and other subject areas for over five years. Her research interests revolve around second language acquisition, culturally relevant pedagogy, and advocacy for ELs and SLIFE students.
