Kyle Undem is a graduate student (MATESOL) at Hamline University. A former participant of the JET Programme (2010-2012), he has lived and taught in Japan for seven years and currently teaches English Language Learners of all ages in the lovely port city of Kobe. His interests include L2 identity, L2 motivational systems, systemic functional linguistics, and equal opportunity for all learners of English.
