Nan Frydland has been teaching adult immigrants and refugees for 17 years. Her research and practice focus on culturally responsive pedagogy, transformative learning, and social justice. She teaches ESOL at the Mercy Learning Center in Connecticut. Nan holds an MFA and MS Ed TESOL from Long Island University. She is a board member of EU-Speak.
