Jia Gui, Ph.D. is an affiliate faculty member in the Department of Teaching and Learning in the School of Education at Virginia Commonwealth University. She completed her Ph.D. in Education, Curriculum, Culture, and Change concentration at VCU in 2023. She was a TESOL teacher and taught college students and secondary school students in China. Her current research interests include the Language-Based Approach to Content Instruction (LACI) and teacher education for multilingual learners.
