Laura Meinzen (she/her) is a PhD student at the University of Colorado Boulder in Equity, Bilingualism and Biliteracy and Teacher Learning, Research and Practice. She was a former secondary humanities teacher and teacher leader in Western Colorado and New Orleans for 12 years. Laura was the lead facilitator for the Caminos hacia el Biliteracy YPAR project and for a smaller youth co-writing group. In her research, she studies how multilingual YPAR can be used as a tool for linguistic justice, how youth are positioned within and can contribute to teacher education, and how to prepare justice-centered educators. https://orcid.org/0009-0000-0089-8939
