Stephanie D’Costa, PhD, is a licensed child psychologist in Oakland, CA. Her research has focused on increasing educational opportunities for cultural and linguistically diverse students. She holds a doctorate in Educational Psychology from the University of Wisconsin-Madison. She received her BA in Human Development from California State University in Long Beach, CA where she focused on Language development in relation to academic success. Stephanie is an ongoing collaborator with WIDA creating language instructional tools for teachers.
