Josephine Prado, Ph.D., is Assistant Professor of English Learner Education in the School of Education at the University of Alabama at Birmingham. In 2013, Dr. Prado began converting the School of Education’s Community English Program from conversation classes into a curriculum-based sequence of five ESL courses taught by MA-TESOL students.
