Lynn Shafer Willner, Ph.D., works to improve equity and accessibility for multilingual learners through the design of digital tools, accessibility and accommodations research and guidelines, and standards for multilingual learners. While working at WestEd, she served as Lead Author of the 2014 ELPA21 ELP Standards (CCSSO 2014a; 2014b). Since her arrival at WIDA in mid-2014, Lynn co-authored the WIDA Accessibility and Accommodations Framework and an accompanying supplement used with ACCESS for ELLs. As part of her work on the WIDA ELD Standards Development Team, she created the alignment architecture for the 2020 Edition.
