Matthew Delaini is an instructor with ESLi at the University of Minnesota Duluth and the development director at Age Well Arrowhead in Duluth. As an instructor, he works with incoming ESL students who are new to the American academic environment and working to satisfy the requirements of their conditional admission pathway program. As a development director, he focuses on non-profit organizational growth and fundraising. Matt has taught ESL in multiple contexts since 2005, both in the United States and in South Korea, and is interested in promoting methodologies that empower students and contribute to their intellectual autonomy. He received his MA in TESOL from Victoria University of Wellington in New Zealand and will be receiving an MSW from the University of Minnesota Duluth in the fall.
