Merissa Russie is the Multilingual Education Licensure Specialist for Project MOMENTUM at the Southeast Service Cooperative and an accomplished leader in multilingual learner education. Prior to her role at Project MOMENTUM, she was an ELD Director who developed a thriving multilingual program in Minneapolis. Merissa also has a special interest in supporting multilingual learners with disabilities, as she spent the bulk of her teaching career supporting this population. Merissa holds a K-12 School Principal License, an M.S. in Community & Social Services, and a B.A. in Teaching English as a Second Language.
