Michele Allen, MD, MS, is an assistant professor in the Department of Family Medicine and an Investigator in the Program in Health Disparities Research at the University of Minnesota. Her research focuses on using community-based participatory approaches to develop health promotion and substance use prevention interventions among Latino and other immigrant adolescents and their families. She has been PI of multiple grants from the National Institutes of Health, and other institutions.
