Sharon Besser is an educator, researcher, and advocate for multilingual learners. She worked on the WIDA 2020 Standards Development team developing annotated texts to help teachers draw attention to language. Previously she worked in teacher education at Edgewood College. She has a Ph.D. in language and literacy from UC Berkeley.
