Siri Mehring has taught six years in Spanish Dual Immersion classrooms around the Twin Cities. She has taught first grade and third–fifth grade and has a wide variety of knowledge on teaching students in a second language. She began teaching in an ESL classroom this fall and hopes to bring her experience and knowledge of teaching languages from immersion classrooms into her ESL classroom. She speaks Spanish and has spent time living in Valladolid, Spain through undergraduate study abroad and Guanajuato, Mexico, where she received her masters degree in Spanish Language Teaching. She is currently in an ESL program at Hamline University in St. Paul.
