Tara M. Willging is a doctoral student and adjunct professor in the School of Education at the Virginia Commonwealth University. She has been a member of the Multilingual Learners in Schools research group at VCU since 2021, contributing to book chapters, articles, and conference presentations. She has been a practicing ESOL teacher in Virginia since 2016. Her research interests include languages in schools; ranging from assets-based approaches to critical pedagogies.
