Bailey Nafziger is an Assistant Professor of Education at Georgia Southern University. She has a bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education, a master’s degree in science education, and an educational doctorate in practice and leadership from the University of North Dakota. Currently, she primarily teaches undergraduate and graduate elementary science methods courses, and her research focuses on critical thinking, pre-service teacher preparation, online instruction, and culturally relevant science instruction. Before transitioning into higher education, Dr. Nafziger spent 10 years in public education teaching both middle school science and elementary school gifted and talented.
