Ana María Angel Acuña, B.S., A.D.N., L.V.N., holds a degree in Organizational Management and Human Resources from Colorado Christian University. A Licensed Vocational Nurse with extensive experience as a healthcare educator and staff development coordinator, she brings expertise in curriculum design and adult learning to ESL instruction. She maintains TESOL/TEFL certification from Oxford Seminars. As a Peace Corps Volunteer in Ecuador (2017–2020), she served as the primary classroom implementer for the TiNi-ESL integration described in this article, translating lesson plans into engaging instruction for elementary students. She currently provides volunteer ESL instruction at Internados de Mater Dei in Medellín, Colombia.
